The Elgin City Council Election Is April 1, 2025.
Your vote is crucial. LGBTQ+ rights are at risk. Support LGBTQ+ initiatives, policies, and laws by voting. As a registered not-for-profit 501(c)(3), Elgin Pride cannot endorse or oppose political candidates, but we can support initiatives, policy, and law.
Elgin City Council elections will take place as part of the Consolidated General Election on April 1, 2025. The Elgin Pride community wants to be heard, and we want to work with Elgin City Council, an organization that has been so supportive of our LGBTQ+ community.
Elgin Pride has offered all candidates for Elgin City Council a chance to speak at a Meet the Candidate virtual meeting at a date and time of their choosing. All candidates for election have been sent this invite.
